IS PRGF THERAPY SAFE? ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Because PRGF employs your own blood, you have a very low risk for an allergic reaction or side effects.  However, PRGF does involve the use of needles and side effects are possible.  It is possible to have a reaction to the solution or the anesthetic agent used.  It is also possible to have pain or bruising at the site of the injection. At your consultation, your health provider will review the risks and benefits with you.  You will be assessed if you are a candidate for this procedure.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

The appointment & process will take 45-60 minutes to complete. There are a few forms to complete prior to your infusion as well as a quick medical assessment.

IS IT PAINFUL?

We always use numbing cream and if necessary, a local injectable anesthetic to ensure your comfort.

WILL I NEED MORE THAN 1 TREATMENT?
